Hi, I'm Solomon

Software Engineer Graphic Designer Youth & Education Advocate
Software Engineering student at ALU, Kigali — designing and engineering solutions that solve real-world problems in education, healthcare, and community development.
About Me
Not just a developer. A problem-solver, a designer, and a leader — driven by one belief: technology should create real change for real people. That's the standard every project is held to.
I am a Software Engineering student at African Leadership University (ALU) in Kigali, Rwanda, originally from South Sudan. My work sits at the intersection of software engineering, visual communication, and social impact.
I began with graphic design, which sharpened my eye for clarity, structure, and storytelling. That creative foundation naturally evolved into frontend development and Python, where I learned to transform ideas into scalable, usable solutions. Today, every project I take on follows one principle: deliver work that performs, communicates clearly, and creates measurable value.
Open to internships, collaborative projects, and opportunities where I can contribute, learn, and grow.

How I Work
Three disciplines. One standard — work that performs, communicates clearly, and creates real value.
Software Engineering
Every project starts with a problem statement, not a tech stack. I build with Python, Flask, FastAPI, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript — from REST APIs and data pipelines to full-stack web apps. Clean architecture, readable code, and proper documentation are non-negotiable.
- Full-stack web applications
- REST APIs & database design
- Data engineering & dashboards
- Education & healthcare platforms
Graphic Design
Design is communication. Before opening any tool, I rank content priority — hierarchy drives every layout decision. I work across campaign posters, event flyers, social media graphics, and UI design, always testing at multiple sizes for digital and print.
- Campaign & event posters
- Social media graphics
- UI design & web layouts
- Print-ready materials
Brand & Identity
A brand is a system, not a logo. I design logos, color palettes, typography, and apparel graphics that hold together across every surface — from a phone screen to a printed hoodie. My work for Sleek Nexus Creative covers the full identity system.
- Logo & logomark systems
- Color & typography systems
- Apparel & merchandise design
- Full visual identity guides
